Customer bring this to me today with this famous ticking noise .
First of all this is the most common problem with this engines .
This noise is coming from injectors area soo is nothing to do with lifters or timing chain
Follow this steps to find the problem:
1 .check the timing chain just to be sure there is no play or noise on it
2 .check intake manifold swirl flaps
3. Check throttle body
4. Injectors
5. egr valve
6. Ignition coil pack and sparkplugs
