The three different methods are:
1: Mixing paint on the palette
2: Mixing paint on the paper
3: Glazing one colour over the top of another colour
In this video I use my Robax pallete https://www.robax.com/palettes.html. It has sloping wells. It also has a little ridge at the top where the paint sits. I don’t like the paint that I squirt onto the palette to be sitting in water. I prefer to paint when that paint has hardened. When I first got this palette I didn’t put a lot of paint in because I don’t use a lot so I didn’t fill up that entire space at the top above the ridge. When I squirted water onto the paint the water got stuck around it because of that ridge that’s on the palette. So someone, who watched my palette video (link below) suggested that I should fill the space up with paint so there’s no room around the paint for the water to sit. Great idea! I have done that with some of the colours but not all yet.
