The Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) is a globally recognized certification for information security professionals who have expertise in cloud computing and its security aspects. It is offered by the International Information System Security Certification Consortium, or (ISC)², and is designed to validate the knowledge, skills, and abilities of individuals in designing, managing, and securing cloud computing environments.
The CCSP certification covers a wide range of topics related to cloud security, including cloud computing concepts, architecture, and design principles; cloud data security; cloud platform and infrastructure security; cloud application security; operations and incident response; legal and compliance issues; and more. It is intended for professionals who have at least five years of experience in IT, including three years of experience in information security, and at least one year of experience working with cloud computing technologies.
Earning the CCSP certification demonstrates to employers and clients that an individual has a comprehensive understanding of cloud security and can apply best practices to protect cloud-based systems and data.
