Expressway DBM work//DBM laying work of Expressway
PNC Infratech Ltd has created a new record by laying 40000-ton DBM in 100 hours with 2 nos. 1800-3 ( 10m ) working in echelon paving for a total width of 19.55 Metres at the Delhi Vadodara Expressway project (Package 29).
This attempt of breaking the previous record of 19000 tons was for the 'India Book of Records'
Dense Bituminous Macadam (DBM) is a binder course used for roads with more number of heavy commercial vehicles and a close-graded premix material having a voids content of 5-10 per cent.
