This is the most apple pie I have ever made. The recipe is practically from apples alone. The texture is juicy, tender and fragrant. It is the ground nuts that make it special in taste. The recipe is quite simple, from the available ingredients. I recommend cooking!

INGREDIENTS: for the form 24x24 cm.
Apples - 650 grams (4 pieces);
Sugar - 100 grams;
Eggs - 3 pieces;
Milk - 100 ml;
Vegetable oil - 80 ml;
Flour - 200 grams;
Baking powder - 10 grams;
Chopped nuts - 50 grams;
Lemon zest - 1 piece;
Lemon juice - ½ pieces;
Vanilla sugar - ½ teaspoon;
Salt - ¼ tsp.
Additionally:
Powdered sugar - 1 tbsp. a spoon.

HOW TO COOK:
1. Beat chicken eggs, sugar, vanilla sugar and salt with a mixer at high speed until an airy, stable mass is obtained.
2. Add milk, butter and lemon zest, mix with a mixer at low speed.
3. Sift flour and baking powder through a sieve, gently mix the mass until smooth.
4. Peel apples and seed pods. Cut into quarters and then cut into thin slices. Transfer to a bowl.
5. Pour apples with lemon juice, add nuts and mix well.
6. Add apple slices to the dough, mix so that each piece of apples is in the dough.
7. Transfer the dough to a 24x24 cm mold lined with parchment. Lightly smooth and sprinkle with ground nuts.
8. Bake in a preheated oven to 170 degrees for 40 minutes. Adjust the baking time according to your oven.
9. Remove the finished cake from the mold, let it cool, sprinkle with powdered sugar if desired, cut into portions and serve with tea.
