The Boeing 737 crash at Muan Airport was a major aviation accident that occurred at Muan Airport in the Republic of Korea on the morning of December 29, 2024.
The Boeing 737-800, operated by Jeju Air, was completing scheduled international flight 7C-2216 from Bangkok to Muan when it landed without landing gear. The plane soon left the runway and crashed into the ILS embankment. Of the 181 people on board (175 passengers and 6 crew members), only 2 survived.
