Today, The Philly Captain is down in Wildwood, NJ, taking you on a full, end-to-end walk of the world-famous Wildwood Boardwalk.We are starting our trek right by the Wildwood Convention Center. It is a rainy, quiet, and unusually empty day on the boards, giving us the perfect backdrop to talk about the massive country music concert that just wrapped up here this past weekend.As we make our way down the entire length of the boardwalk, I’ll be showing you up-close views of the iconic amusement piers and checking in on some of our favorite classic arcades.But that is not all. Wildwood has strict new curfews in effect this year, and we are staying out on the boards to see exactly how they are enforced:10:00 PM Curfew: All unsupervised minors and juveniles must clear the boardwalk.1:00 AM Curfew: Full boardwalk shutdown. No matter your age, everyone has to leave because everything is officially closed.I am staying out for both curfews to capture the real-time audio announcements ordering minors off the boards, and to show you exactly what happens at 1:00 AM when the entire boardwalk goes dark.
