Varenka made herself a house so that she would not be bitten by living dolls. At night, Sveta woke up and heard living dolls rustling outside the door. The dolls wanted to bite Varenka, but they couldn’t because she was in the house. Sveta realized that she needed to make her own house out of blankets.
