Structure really is the end all-be all for dogs. It symbolizes safety, love and all things that dogs need to live. Giving a dog love and not structure is unfair regardless of the dog. People often think they are doing the best thing, in particular for a reclusive dog to give them love and wait ons structure and this is often a huge mistake.
