I had some free time on my hand the other day and I decided to create a short animation of how I imagine cells in Thrive will eventually look like. The model and materials were created by me in Blender and rendered in Cycles.

Short Bio Lesson:
Contrary to popular belief, a cell does not propel itself by simply moving a flagellum left to right. Rather, a flagellum is a spiral shaped organelle that is rotated about its long axis to move a cell. However if you look at it from one direction, as in my video, it looks like a simple sine curve.
