What is ADHD in adults and how does it manifest?
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a neurodevelopmental disorder that presents as neurodivergence in people from childhood and is a part of adult life. It is not a disease but a condition that, if not understood and managed with the appropriate tools, can lead to adaptive problems that seriously affect a person's life. Difficulty achieving goals, constant instability, self-regulation problems, addictions, anxiety, and depression are some of the consequences of not adequately addressing this neurodivergence.
