We are generally quite proficient at picking up tools and implementing it on a project. However, across projects there are many issues seen due to:
a lack of knowledge on how to implement a framework optimally
a lack of boilerplate code or rush jobs just to get automation in place.
This talk will walk through some patterns and anti-patterns of test automation - right from understanding how to automate, how to choose the best tool for automation to creating a complete framework that is maintainable and extensible
