Skype Enabled Software Scam - Be Prepared, not Scared
Someone has found a new way to perpetrate a software scam using Skype. It looks to me like they're calling my Skype In number because nobody can call my skype ID when its set to 'invisible'. An actual example of the audio from a typical call is included. They suggest going to their website to download software to 'fix' your computer. Don't do it. But also, do not be alamed -- it doesn't mean your computer is really compromised in any way. It just means someone has snagged your skype number. Anyway, just block their id and report abuse to skype.
