GIZA DUNGEONS: Secret Halls of the Gods or True Tombs of the Great Pharaohs? - VERSADOCO
Everyone knows the three famous pyramids on the Giza plateau, and for years we've been told they were built as tombs for three great pharaohs. But no remains were found inside: not those of Khufu, Khafre, or Mykerinos. Only empty stone sarcophagi and the bare walls of the inner chambers. Perhaps robbers carried off everything... or more likely, there were never any tombs inside the pyramids.
Ancient sources suggest we should look elsewhere. The Greek historian Herodotus wrote that Khufu was buried in a chamber carved directly into the hill beneath the pyramids.
In this documentary, we follow Robert Temple's investigation, exploring strange granite channels, hidden shafts, and traces of underground work beneath the temples.
We explore what modern science knows with its modern tools: from ground-penetrating radar to data from new orbital radars, to take a fresh look at ancient legends.
