ACTUAL Professional ICON tools you can find at HARBOR FREIGHT PART 3
The Daytona DJ3000. Here's a quick little tidbit from Eric Schmidt, CEO of Harbor Freight Tools. Pause the screen if you want to read it but in there. Mr. Schmidt explains how he found the exact manufacturer for Snap-on's FJ 300, cut out the middleman and partnered directly with the manufacturer to bring us all essentially the same jack.
Snap on even tried to sue over this exact jack but allegedly what ended up happening is once the cat was out of the bag and everyone knew both jacks were made in the same place, they all opted to settle with harbor freight's spokesperson saying: the settlement “is confidential, what we can say is that we’re pleased with the outcome. We’re continuing to sell the Daytona jack and did not have to make any payment to Snap-on.
I'm sure we can all read between the lines there. today the snap on sells for a jaw dropping $1015 but here the Daytona is a mere $289.99 DAMN, that's an over $700 savings just for doing ya damn research.
