How to SUM or COUNT Cells by Color in Excel and update automatically
In this video we will learn how to create an Excel formula to sum and count values based on the cell background color.
We achieve this with two simple Excel VBA function. This VBA function that we create will have two arguments. First argument is for what color we are looking for and the second argument is in what range of cells do we look for this color.
We then add a line of code to make the formula results update automatically when a cell color in the range changes color or a cell in the range changes value.
