Installing Dedicated ARK Server on Ubuntu 18.04
In this video I'll show you how to install a dedicated ARK Server on Ubuntu 18.04 Server. This is the configuration I use on my own dedicated ARK Server that I use for friends and family. It works well.
I have it running in a VM on ESXi. The VM has 4 vCPU, 16GB of RAM, and a 40GB disk backed by SSD. I believe the minimum RAM for an ARK server is 6GB, but I'd recommend no less than 8GB.
