Designing Layout & defining and using String resources in layout xml
This video tutorial will help you in using the in-built Layout designer found in Android Studio.
We will show you how to design your Android application's layout by using the drag and drop builder first to place a view on screen and then editing it's values to meet your needs in text editor.
We will be adding 3 TextViews, 2 EditTexts and 1 Button.
We will also show you how to define String type resources in res/values/strings.xml and then how to use them in layout.
N.B. Mouse clicks with red circle are Left Mouse Button Click and the ones with Green circle are Right Mouse Button Click.
