Some things... they just didn't understand...
My parents only ever approved of me being a lawyer or doctor. So growing up, all I did was study hard, do what my parents told me to, and went to college on the pre-med track. But the more I learned about myself and my love for design and fitness, the less happy I became with the life my parents wanted for me. I tried to tell them how I felt, but they didn't understand and continued to push me towards the path of a doctor, even though all I wanted to do was teach pilates and design awesome clothes and gear!
