Horizon Zero Dawn - Ultra Hard No Upgrade Run - Final Boss Corrupted Deathbringer Part 1
Uploading this fight on a per-checkpoint basis. The first part of this battle isn't really a big deal. I actually use probably too much healing here still getting my groove back, but there's plenty scattered around the battlefield. You'll see me loot some boxes in Part 3.
Any pieces you remove from the Deathbringer here will be remembered by the game after the checkpoints. However, it will not remember item/loot drops, which includes the Deathbringer Guns that fall on the battlefield. That means if you want to use Phase 1 and 2 to shoot the guns off and then quickly end the battle during Phase 3, you have to do it in a single run. But I think that would be the best strategy for this fight, overall. So far I haven't had the patience to create a video of that, but I might some day down the line.
I forgot to do my status checks on this video. Still, it's easily verified: the unmodified Carja Hunter's bow will only do 21 damage to the final Deathbringer's weak points on Ultra Hard mode. It does 24 on Very Hard, 27 on Hard, 30 on Normal, 38 on Easy, and 120(!!) on Story. I do remember to show my stats at the end of part 3.
