Hell at Night - We just Had a Kitchen Fire. Here is the Aftermath
Hell at Night... I was making french fries and the oil boiled over I was in the living room for a minute and the smoke alarm went off. I turned into look at the kitchen and i could not see any light except a glow coming around the corner where the stove is. Auto Pilot kicked in. I stopped thinking and all i felt was adrenaline. The stove fan and cabinet above it was on fire. The only thing i could see was the fire. My eyes were burning. It was the scariest thing i have ever been through by far. I grabbed the pan and took it off the stove and turned around to get the fire exstingisher and ran into the fridge. Finally found it and went to squeeze and... NOTHING. I tried again and if felt like something broke and it sprayed on the floor. I got it out and started to open the kitchen door and started getting dizzy. Scariest thing ever. It was so hot and dark it felt like Hell at Night. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A WORKING FIRE EXTINGUISHER AND WORKING SMOKE DETECTORS. WE WOULD HAVE LOST EVERYTHING IF WE DIDN'T.
