After taking my RV to a truck shop to have a vibration issue diagnosed, I was told the problem would cost thousands of dollars to fix because the rear differential had to be overhauled. So I brought it back home and fixed it myself for $100 and a couple hours of my time. The best part is I specifically asked them three times to check the ride height, and they stated on the repair order that they “checked all suspension components” which clearly didn’t happen, or someone doesn’t know what they’re doing with air suspension. It’s a shame that I took my vehicle to the “professionals” or in the service advisor’s words “top of the line technicians” only to be told it needed thousands of dollars of work, which it clearly didn’t, and I end up fixing it myself.
