Audacity - Removing Background Noise from Piano Recital
I just got through filming my daughters latest piano recital, and upon reviewing the video.. I realized that the background noise from all the people talking was overpowering the actual music.. help! What to do?? Well Not to fear.. I started up Audacity, the free software program that allows you to do editing and special effects of music and audio wave forms.. In this video I show some tricks to try to reduce background noise.. without hopefully harming the music audio, that I am trying to preserve. I show how to use the effects: noise reduction, amplify, compression, equalization and show how to look at the audio spectrum as well.. so you can see how you are modifying the audio waveform.. hope this helps!
