LIGHT SPINNING - BEAUTIFUL SEA BASS ON TOP WATER!!!
Days of bad weather in Sicily, making it impossible to go fishing. But suddenly, everything calms down, and a beautiful day with calm sea arrives, perfect for some enjoyable light spinning!
I'm at a completely new spot that I don't know, so after work, I grab my trusty Rapture City Game 3-14 Gr. rod with a Shimano Nasci 3000 reel and start exploring the beach near the city.
Initially, there's little activity, with only a small but delightful catch on a small Black Minnow, an artificial lure that I always keep in my tackle box for moments of low activity.
The sun begins to set... sunset is the time to aim for something more substantial...
I increase the size of the lure, using a topwater lure, the Savage Gear Panic Prey in a 16g version. It's slightly above the rod's recommended weight, but still manageable. I'm on the hunt for the queen... the infamous Sea Bass!
A small hint directs me to the perfect casting spot. A little bird dives down on a school of small fish, indicating the presence of other predators. Without hesitation, I make my topwater attack!
As I retrieve the lure, made particularly exciting by the lightweight rod, out comes our Sea Bass... The Sea Bass, as they say in America!!!
A fish too beautiful to keep... quickly released back into the water!
Thank you all for watching, and don't forget to subscribe to stay updated!
