Having both the Octatrack and Digitakt has been fantastic for opening up possibilities re: drum mixing. This method can certainly be accomplished by resampling/sound locking on a single instrument, but I enjoy the flexibility you can get by using multiple drum machines/samplers in this context. Lots of fun to be had!
