New AMD Processors | 512 Cores in 1 Server
AMD has officially announced the long-awaited sixth generation of its EPYC 9006 series server processors, codenamed "Venice." These are the company's first chips based on the latest Zen 6 architecture, and their performance is set to completely knock Intel out of the server game. The top-end models in the lineup will offer up to 256 cores and 512 threads with a TDP of up to 600W, and the first shipments of systems based on Venice processors are expected in Q4 2026.
