matterhorn - down climbing to the solvay hut
video shows my guide climbing the last few steps down to the solvay emergency shelter at 4,000 meters, and a quick view down the steep east face where the climb continues. i led on the way down so i shot this in the few seconds after i reached the hut but before my guide finished climbing down behind me.
the more difficult stuff is past by this point, but its still a long way down to the hornli hut...
