How 2022 Changed The Sims 4
This year has again brought a lot of updates and news into the world of The Sims community. Let's take a look at the most notable The Sims 4 2022 updates!
Among the variety of packs, mods, CC, events, updates etc. I have chosen the following ones:
1. Customizable Pronouns Update
From this update your Sims do not have to be addressed only by she/her or he/him, but also them/them or any other fully customized pronouns, which lets many more Simmers be their true Sim selves. I included screenshots of some Sims who use they/them pronouns from various creators on The Sims 4 Gallery.
2. Neighborhood Stories Update
Your Sims neighbors can now die, move, have a baby, adopt, get a new job or retire fully by themselves. With all the Sims having their own unique stories, this definitely makes your Sims world feel more alive.
3. The Sims 4 High School Years - Actively Playable High School
After 8 years of schools and universities being rabbit holes in The Sims, The Sims 4 High School Years has brought actively playable school into the game. This divided Simmers between those who prefer it and those who just like to send their Sims to school by themselves.
4. Community Influence
The Sims team was working together with community creators in 2022, for example The Sims 4 Pastel Pop Kit in collaboration with Plumbella or two hairstyles with DeeSims.
