The "Reign of Terror" is a time period between 2002 and 2005 where Triple H dominated the WWE (more specifically, the Raw brand) as the World Heavyweight Champion. During this time period, most fans looked at Hunter's run as self-serving due to how many people he beat, the way in which he won matches, and the specific people he defeated in the ring. Guys like Rob Van Dam, Kane, Booker T, Goldberg and Scott Steiner were perceived as victims to the Triple H Reign of Terror, and many believe some of these guys never recovered during Triple H's time at the top.
