circular hike around Plansee 👍 Reutte Tirol
The Plansee (976 m above sea level) is the second largest natural lake in Tyrol after the Achensee and is located in the Reutte / Zugspitze nature park region. The circular hike around the lake is around 14 km long and climbs around 250 meters in altitude.
The starting point is at the campsite / Hotel Seespitze and the circumnavigation is clockwise. First the (unexciting, wide forest path) “Panoramahöhenweg” to the rear end of the lake (Hotel Forelle / lido), then along the really beautiful western shore of the lake back to the starting point. All in all, a 👍 beautiful circular hike.
