The 2023+ Yamaha YZ450F comes with a cable clutch from the factory, but Yamaha has come out with their GYTR Hydraulic Clutch Kit to give riders the option for a hydraulic clutch. This OEM hydraulic clutch kit is specially tuned to optimize the disengagement zone, decrease lever load and minimize maintenance. The system self-adjusts to clutch heat and wear to eliminate the need for manual clutch lever adjustment, resulting in maximum service life and minimal maintenance. In this video, Chase teams up with Kris Keefer of Keefer, Inc. Testing to compare the stock YZ450 cable clutch versus the GYTR Hydraulic Clutch Kit to see if switching to a hydraulic clutch is worth the upgrade.
