Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2 PC - RTX 4070 Super Benchmark
The sequel to Senua's Sacrifice - Hellblade, Senua's Saga - Hellblade 2 just launched and is available on Xbox GamePass. I got it installed and here we benchmark the Nvidia Geforce RTX 4070 Super in Senua's Saga - Hellblade 2. We'll benchmark at 1080p, 1440p and 4K, using the game's 3 presets, namely High, Medium, and Low. We'll also be making use of upscaling in the form of DLSS Super Resolution as well as DLSS Frame Generation (DLSS 3), and even DLAA.
This game has some odd settings when it comes to DLSS 3 Frame Generation in that you cant use it alongside any other upscaler, which is not the norm for DLSS 3 Frame Generation.
The game uses Unreal Engine 5, and even though it is more often referred to as Stutter Engine 5, the game surprisingly lacks a lot of the stuttering issues plaguing UE5 games generally.
The RTX 4070 Super is a great 1440p GPU, but unfortunately Hellblade 2 brings it to its knees at 1440p High using DLAA.
