CADPower's Most Popular Productivity Tool - The Text Pattern Generator
Undoubtedly, CP_TC (The Text Counter / Incrementing pattern generator) is one of the most popular, useful, and easiest-to-understand and use tools in the # CADPower # Productivity series.
This is our second video of the same tool, after several years apart, and a lot has changed in the command since then.
The tool has evolved and found many purposes and applications. The Text Range sequence is a great way to generate quick-and-dirty columns of text that eventually can form text tables, which can export to Excel CSV file using the CP_CONVERT2EXCEL command.
Yet another improvement in the command is the ability to add a boundary around each text. Options like Slot, Circle, and N-Sided polygon make the entire process very flexible and support several workflows.
The ability to work with blocks and attributes makes this a very handy tool in blocks-and-attributes-based content creation.
