Xiaomi's human-less factory in Beijing is now operational. This 100% automated Smart Factory can diagnose and fix issues, optimizing processes autonomously. The 80,000 square meter factory has 11 automated production lines, producing Xiaomi's latest foldable models at one phone every three seconds, 24/7. The factory maintains a pristine environment with micron-level dust removal. While fully robotic factories are not new, this is the first where AI handles all optimizations.
SpaceX has introduced a new service for Starlink commercial customers, providing high-speed internet with download speeds of up to 8 Gbps, even in remote areas like Alaska or at sea. The service uses mobile gateway technology, costing $1.25 million for installation and a monthly fee starting at $75,000.
Elon Musk has postponed the robotaxi presentation to October for "important changes to the front-end design."
