In many cases, extruding surfaces to find the intersection is important, especially when you have a large volume of material that changes over time. For example, blending stockpiles often require surveying every month as the volume varies. In this BricsCAD TOTM, we will see how to quickly create surfaces from survey points, extrude the surfaces up and down, then calculate the volume of the intersecting solids. The Surfaces and Solids modules were used, and they are two of the most integral modules in Promine. The combination of both modules allow you to create surfaces and calculate volumes/tonnages in a few clicks!
