AKAI MPC LIVE Tutorial - Track Types - Basic Functions - Lifted Noise
If you are new to the AKAI MPC LIVE and need some help getting started or are considering purchasing an MPC LIVE, in this video tutorial I speak about 6 track types in the mpc and some basic functions. I also show how to navigate to the grid view, track mixer, step sequencer and how to move quickly from track to track.
3 types of tracks have programs associated with them, these are the drum program, keygroup program and clip programs.
There are also midi tracks, cv tracks and audio tracks.
a key function to get the most out of your tracks is to use track mutes to arrange your beats, you can also use track groups to mute out multiple tracks at once.
