The indie animation community has been everywhere for the last couple of years, between projects like The Amazing Digital Circus, Helluva Boss, Lackadaisy, and the Judas Iscarious film. It seems like indie is the way of the future.
But behind the passion and creativity, things aren’t always what they seem. Today, we’re taking a look at Lionbound and Boldbird Studios, a project whose collapse raised serious questions about toxicity, management, and the darker side of indie animation.
