The Shredder is an analog modelled simulation of the vintage *Marshall® Shredmaster, overdrive stompbox introduced in the 90s to provide the high gain distortion of a tube amplifier.
This pedal has introduced in the ‘91, along with the Bluesbreaker and the Drivemaster, as part of their “amp in a box” series. This is the darkest sounding pedals of that triad.
