Disneyland’s Main Street Electrical Parade 2017
Here is a video of the nostalgic Main Street Electrical Parade recorded on Main Street, USA July 1, 2017. This was the 10:45pm showing. 2017 was the first year the Main Street Electrical Parade returned for Disneyland Park since 1996. The parade ran as Disney’s Electrical Parade at then Disney’s California Adventure Park from 2001-2010. The parade was moved to Magic Kingdom Park at Walt Disney World in Florida for a limited time run in 2010 for Summer Nighttastic! With the Spectromagic Electrical Parade being destroyed at Walt Disney World from poor care, the Main Street Electrical Parade ended up staying until October 9, 2016. I was able to see this parade at Walt Disney World growing up and I was very happy to see it again at Disneyland. It is a shame that Walt Disney World continues to be without a night parade. Thankfully, Disneyland does not cheap out and continues to have a night parade whether it be the Main Street Electrical Parade or the Paint the Night parade. Disneyland has become our new favorite place to visit due to reasons like this!
