I met her at the Congressional Black Caucus back in 2018.
She is the president of RH Boyd, a printing company based in Nashville, TN.
Her company is considered the oldest black owned and operated business in America.
Her great great grandfather started the company and its been family operated ever since. Some background information is that he started the printing company to print materials for National Baptist Council, he also co-founded a bank and he made dolls of dark complexion. Mr. Boyd was also heavily involved in the development of the National Business League headed by Booker T. Washington.

The film covers how slaves learned to read and write, what racists did to destroy black business districts and highlight slaves who owned a business, black millionaires in the 1800's, featured interviews with people whose family owned a business in the early 1900's and so much more.
