Today I'm having what I consider the best burger I've ever eaten. The Juicy Lucy Burger was invented in Minneapolis at Matt's Bar & Grill when a customer wanted a burger with cheese between the patties.
He supposedly exclaimed, "That's one Juicy Lucy!" and that's how the burger got its name. At Matt's, it's actually called "Jucy Luicy," a misspelling. It had crept onto the menu and was allowed to stay 😊 This particular burger gets its special kick from gochujang, a fermented Korean chili paste, and kimchi, pickled Korean cabbage.
It was a truly, and I mean absolutely, fantastic taste experience!
