Ixxus: The Discovery Phase
This biggest factor in ensuring the success of an Ixxus development project is a clear and mutual understanding of the scope and requirements between Ixxus and the client. Our Discovery Process starts by understanding the organizational goals of our client and establishing success criteria for the project. We then work with stakeholders and business users to capture high level requirements as epics. And then ultimately, we drill these down into user stories with user acceptance criteria, as well as design the technical architecture, with enough detail that development can begin. We work collaboratively in a joint team with our client to prioritize these requirements into a scope for a phase (e.g., MVP Phase 1). We also develop a roadmap so that our clients know what capabilities will be delivered when over the life of the project.
But, Discovery isn't just about capturing requirements and defining the scope of a project. It's also about helping our clients drive business transformation. This is why we go beyond technology, and look at the client's processes, content, and organisation.
