2️⃣ Make the most of your existing network
Inform them about your work
Help them with any UX-related jobs
Ask them to spread the word
Offer high-quality work for cheap
Your friends, family, relatives, colleagues… Are all credible + free referral sources.
3️⃣ Put yourself and your work out there
Offer helpful content for free
Share your journey and exp online with others -
Promote your work on Upwork/Freelancer/Fiverr
This might not give you instant traction
But it'll grow your network and build credibility
4️⃣ Expect less, experience more
When you're new to UX design
Learn to not expect too much
But to compromise:
✅ Working at a lower rate or for free
Experience over Money
✅ Open to clients' feedback
Experience over Ego
As your experience grows, so does your client base.
