Feeding Chickens From The Compost Bin | Backyard Chickens | Chicken Feed (Silkie Chickens)
Feeding chickens is always a hot topic, and people have been looking for more efficient or cost-effective ways to feed their chickens for centuries. Well, one small trick that can help when raising backyard chickens is to help supplement their feed from the compost bin. In our case, the most effective way to do this that we have found is by using a tumbling compost bin to help attract insects which in turn helps the backyard chicken keeper in feeding their chickens.
