Facebook and Instagram are down, but I'm not!
How reliant are you on 1 or 2 platforms to live your live or run your business? Did Facebook and Instagram crashing effect you? I'd love to hear how in the comments!
Understand that I am an avid user of all aspects of FB and Instgram, stories, pages, groups, IGTV, etc and think they are awesome, but I'm super glad I could just hop onto YouTube and reach my audience without any disruption. I also have my email list ready to go.
Never rely on 1 way. We've seen many examples of this in recent years. Toys-R-Us, BlockBuster, to name a couple. They didn't adapt to alternate platforms and paid the ultimate price.
Today just spotlights the need to diversify yourself into different platforms, so that you never have to worry about not being able to reach your audience, friends, customers, etc.
I am proud to have learned from some great people and have set up profiles in different platforms. They aren't all quite as tweaked and polished as I want them yet, but the ground work is done.
