Military Series - Zhilin's Outpost Episode 9 (2008) HD
Zhilin is reinstated in the army as a lieutenant and works as deputy commander of a filtration camp near Tula. Upon learning that his native Smolensk has been liberated, he asks his superiors for a few days' leave to see his mother. He finds no one at his home, and a neighbor tells him that a Polish prostitute lived there. When Soviet troops arrived, the Polish woman was arrested, and the children were taken to a detention center. Pavel's mother appears and tells him in more detail the story of how his wife, Elzbieta, and her brother and sister lived in their apartment for two years. His mother is ashamed that Elzbieta earned her living by providing a certain service to the Germans. Pavel assures his mother that Elzbieta is not his wife at all, but he still feels sorry for the children. Pasha goes to the detention center and manages to persuade the head of the detention center to give him Janos and Yulia, who are registered as his children.
