Hiked St Mary's Wilderness for the first time with Albus Dumbledog, scoping out if this is an ok place to bring the daughter and her friends. Brought my Warbonnet Ridgerunner bridge hammock to test in the wild. Beautiful place. No trail markers beyond the 3 or 4 markers pointing you towards the falls and about 5 or 7 river crossings that are at least 1 foot deep. Tons of people there despite the "only" 66F / 19C weather; I could tell some did swim. The whole thing follows the river and is in a steep valley so mostly straightforward, easy to follow trail. No steep hikes, but MAN there are some super rocky parts, and at least 1 part is like straight up 10ft nearly straight down unless you walk through the river around. I thought it was 1.4 miles, but apparently it was 5 miles lol, whoops.
