The REAL reason why Moore’s Law doesn’t work
Moore's law is popularly used to forecast the development of technologies, more importantly computing power & speed. A popular misconception is that Moore's law is applicable to clean energy tech development, (ex: For renewables). This isfar from the case as historical trends reveal progress and advancement in energy technologies take place at a much slower rate. Hence why we cannot solely rely on the promise that battery technologies and renewable energy will one day power our world.
