COSI's Back to Work Program (Overview)
The Colorado Department of Higher Education launched the Back to Work program in 2020 to help workers whose jobs were impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. The program aims to provide education and training to get participants back into the workforce in industries where Colorado is seeing the most growth, such as healthcare, education, and technology. The Colorado Opportunity Scholarship Initiative awarded $15 million to 20 Back to Work programs across the state. Participants receive financial support to attend a public institution in Colorado and student support services with a navigator to guide them.
