Update: Clean-up black edges for different masks
After finishing all your roto work, take the output of the final Merge and pipe it into a Bitmap node.
Then clip the values slightly to clean up the matte.
Merge the original footage back on top.
Use the Bitmap as the Alpha.
Add a Matte Control node.
Feather the edges and adjust Contract / Expand.
This approach lets you control the entire matte at once, instead of tweaking each individual roto shape — which makes the process faster and way more consistent.
⚠️ Note: The Luma Keyer is only useful in certain shots (like the example shown in this video). It’s not a universal fix.
